Drive Smart, Adjust Your Speed

Speed limits are set based on good road conditions when a driver can drive at the fastest possible speed and still be in control of their car.

To avoid a speeding ticket, if it rains or there’s a lot of traffic, then it is the driver’s responsibility to adjust their speed by slowing down to better control their car.

In Florida, more than 1.3 million speeding tickets were issued. There are a lot of drivers driving way too fast making the roads unsafe and causing car accidents. When you double the speed of your car, you increase its force of impact four times. When you triple the speed of your car, you increase its force of impact nine times.
